“ This is a very popular restaurant. It specialises in Taiwanese cuisine. There are many choices of Taiwanese food. Among us, we ordered 4 types of food. All were to our liking. We had unagi rice set, pork chop rice, signature dry noodles and signature bun. ”
“ Have been seeing this for a week but haven't had chance to eat. The name is unique and attention grabbing. Definitely piques my interest but keep getting my timing wrong. Everytime i come here it's closed. Edit: Finally made it here. Upgrade to 5 stars after trying the food. Whenever I see a Q I get my hopes up. Here had to Q 15 minutes and I was glad I waited The unagi egg rice was superbly flavored with good portions. You must try this if you come here. Braised pork rice also had a good balanced taste. The egg and chicken floss is a unique take. Good for sharing but hard to finish if you are alone. The aircon is powerful and the place cold and inviting during a hot lunch hour. The tables are well spaced and comfortable to sit. Most importantly, it's hygienic and inviting to the senses. ”
“ Tai Ho Jiak updating their menu with new dishes is definitely the best change they’ve ever made. The Korean fried pork with braised minced meat rice is pretty decent. Even better, they now have a new signature desert which has mashu at the sides along with red bean and other toppings. This is the best desert I’ve had from Tai Ho Jiak so far. It’s really good. Definitely recommend a revisit for everyone who love their food! ”
“ The famous pork braised rice is very delicious . Comes with their crispy popcorn chicken . Noodles are on the sweeter side but still delicious. Overall good experience, food price is very reasonable as well. Their shop has 5 huge aircond perfect for hot Penang weather. ”
“ Nice place to sit down and have a bite. Tables are spaced nicely so that it's not too crammed. Overall food quality was decent. The signature crispy chicken rice set was nice. I wouldn't say it was outstanding but if you want a nice simple meal it is good. The chicken was cooked well and still juicy. The price point for the food is maybe slightly high for me. You'd spend about rm20-30 for meal + drink at a minimum. ”
